National Tyre and Wheel (NTAW) is a respected name in the automotive industry, known for its vast network, exceptional service, and commitment to quality. NTAW has 18 distribution centres (7 subcontracted logistic suppliers) and manages over 23 brands, including Dunlop, exclusively.
NTAW’s rapid expansion required them to have a collaboration system capable of meeting their dynamic business needs. Their existing systems consisted of legacy PABX’s which were beginning to fail. Due to these legacy PABX vendors exiting the market, spare parts and maintenance were becoming expensive and the systems were not capable of meeting the demands of their growing business. These challenges were adding significant pressure on the business. NTAW collaborated with Vonex regarding a solution that could meet the demands of their business. Fundamental to the NTAW business was the requirement of a contact centre solution able to handle a significant number of calls and to have agents, distributed nationally, easily able to collaborate. NTAW required a native call recording solution that was PCI compliant and offered DSS redaction and transcription
Competing against a number of providers, Vonex, having recently announced their partnership with Channel UC, were able to meet these requirements and provide a variety of solutions that satisfied NTAW. Channel UC along with Vonex deployed Ribbon’s SBCaaS solution, Ribbon Connect, to over 370 users, and to meet the requirements of the contact centre, deployed CC4Teams and Call Cabinet to over 50 Call Centre users.
